iPhone Price Drop = Pissed Early Adopters

As someone who stood in line for 8+ hours on June 29th, I am PISSED OFF that Apple decided to drop the price of the 8GB by $200 and in turn, phase out the 4GB. I can buy a 4GB iPhone now for $200 less than what I paid for it when I first got it. I know that technology changes and prices drop, but this fast?

This price decrease shows that Apple made a HUGE mistake when they first released the iPhone. They basically said, "we didn't sell enough at first, so let's drop the price and make up what we lost." Then, Jobs goes on to say that all early adopters and die hard Apple fans are SOL because, "that's technology."

I urge everyone who purchased an iPhone to FLOOD the Apple discussion forums, mail angry letters, call customer service people and push Apple into compensating each person who waited passionately in line for their "wonder phone". Had we known that they were going to do this, we wouldn't have bought the devices upon release.

Shame on Apple for fooling the public, and shame on them for turning their backs on the people who've helped them get where they are today!
