Need Your News Fix? Try Google Reader

There are several different websites I visit each day when I wake up. Most of them are centered around tech, but some have to do with movies and music, so instead of bookmarking each site and visiting them individually I subscribe to them in my Google Reader. Google Reader looks like a normal RSS feed manager, but it offers many features that make it a notch better than others I've used.

For example, you'll notice at the top right of my page, there is a new module of Shared Items. These are stories I've decided to "share" from my Reader page by clicking on the little orange "wi-fi-esque" icon at the bottom of the headline, which then publishes it to my blog. I can email articles right from the reader without accessing a new page or a new window and I can star interesting articles to read for later use. The interface is very easy to use and importing new feeds is a snap. Check out the link above to sign up and start reading!
