Macs + OmniFocus + GTD = Win for Students
This fall, Maine expanded its Maine Learning Technology Initiative (MLTI) by giving the state's high schools the opportunity to take advantage of the program for grades 9-12. "As a result there are now over 60,000 new MacBook laptops which have been shipped - now covering every middle school student and teacher, every high school teacher, and 62% of the high school students in Maine," (AmbientAwareness.info, 2009).
Now, students in Maine's middle schools and high schools will have the chance to incorporate David Allen's "Getting Things Done" program into their daily lives, making them more productive and in turn, helping them achieve better grades. I hope more states adopt this program into their school systems and give every student the chance to better themselves.
